The Farsamo App is an online platform that connects Customers (those
seeking services) with Service Providers (skilled technicians who deliver
services). By accessing or using the Farsamo App, you agree to these Terms
and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced
herein. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to provide service in the App.
Service Providers must pass verification checks (such as ID
verification, training, or background checks) before offering services.
The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate any
account at its sole discretion.
3. Rights and Responsibilities of Service Providers
Service Providers are entitled to:
Fair access to job opportunities ordered through the App.
Transparent pricing and timely payment for completed services.
Service Providers are responsible for:
Providing services in a professional, lawful, and respectful manner.
Arriving on time and completing the job as agreed.
Protecting customer property and maintaining confidentiality.
Complying with health, safety, and legal requirements.
Not soliciting or accepting off-platform jobs from Farsamo customers.
4. Rights and Responsibilities of Customers
Customers are entitled to:
Request and receive services through the App.
Get services performed with reasonable skill and care.
Transparent pricing before confirming a booking.
Raise complaints and have them addressed promptly.
Customers are responsible for:
Providing accurate job details and access to the service location.
Treating Service Providers with respect.
Making payments through the App only.
Not soliciting or arranging off-platform work with Service Providers.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Customer Cancellations:
Customers may cancel a booking before the job starts at no charge.
If cancelled after a Service Provider has already arrived or invested
significant time, a cancellation fee may apply.
Service Provider Cancellations:
Providers may not cancel frequently or without good cause. Repeated
cancellations may lead to suspension.
If a Provider cancels after accepting a booking, the Customer will
receive a full refund.
Refund Policy:
Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used.
Service fees, mobile money transaction charges, or convenience fees may
be non-refundable.
6. Payments
All payments must be processed via the Farsamo App. Direct cash or
off-platform payments are prohibited.
Customers are charged at the time of booking, but funds are held
securely until the job is confirmed as completed.
After completion, payments are transferred to the Service Provider’s
account minus platform fees.
The Company may deduct service charges, transaction fees, or penalties
from payouts.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Harassment, abuse, or discrimination of any kind.
Fraudulent bookings or misrepresentation.
Substance abuse while on duty.
Theft, damage, or misuse of customer property.
Circumventing the platform by working directly with customers outside
the App.
Violation of these rules may result in account suspension, termination,
and/or legal action.
8. Liability and Disclaimers
The Company is a platform provider and does not directly employ Service
Providers.
Service Providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents
of the Company.
The Company is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or misconduct
of Service Providers or Customers.
The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential
damages.
Customers and Providers are encouraged to resolve disputes directly. The
Company may mediate at its discretion but is not obligated to.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
The Company may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms,
receive serious complaints, or engage in misconduct.
Any outstanding payments may be withheld in cases of fraud, theft, or
breach of trust.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Somalia (or the country where the
App operates). Disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the
courts in Mogadishu, unless otherwise agreed.
11. Declaration and Consent
By signing up and using the Farsamo App, I acknowledge and agree that:
All customers belong to the Farsamo platform, and I may not establish
off-platform relationships.
If found working privately with Farsamo customers, I will face penalties
including account termination.
I bear sole responsibility for my actions and conduct; the Company is
not liable for my negligence.
I agree to comply fully with the rules, policies, and laws governing the
Farsamo App.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
The Company values the privacy of all users. Personal data collected
(such as name, phone number, ID, payment details, or job history) will
be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Data will only be collected, stored, and processed for:
Account creation and verification
Matching Customers with Service Providers
Facilitating payments and resolving disputes
Improving app performance and user experience
Personal data will not be sold or shared with third parties for
marketing purposes without explicit consent.
The Company may share limited information (such as name and contact
number) between Customers and Service Providers for the sole purpose of
completing a service.
Users have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data
by contacting the Company.
13. Location Services
The Farsamo App may collect and use your device’s location data to:
Match Customers with nearby Service Providers
Provide accurate directions and estimated arrival times
Improve safety, trust, and service quality
Customers must provide correct service addresses and allow the app to
use location data for booking accuracy.
Service Providers must enable location services while working on active
jobs to ensure transparency and safety.
Location data will only be used for the purposes of the service and will
not be stored indefinitely or shared with unauthorized parties.
By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of location data
as described.
